The Third "International Quality-controlled Ocean Database" (IQuOD) Workshop will take place in Hamburg, Germany, on 3-4 December 2015.
This special issue of Exchanges provides an overview of CLIVAR’s role in the development of a sustained ocean observing system, in terms of research and advances in understanding.
The 2015 GCOS Status Report, Status of the Global Observing System, is now open for public review. The deadline for contributions is 7 September 2015. The draft report can be downloaded from the GCOS website.
