The 33rd Session of the GEWEX Scientific Steering Group (SSG) was held online from 3-6 May 2021. CLIVAR was represented in this meeting by Sonya Legg, Aurel Moise, Jose Santos and some other CLIVAR members.

Following the 26th Session of the CLIVAR Scientific Steering Group on March 2021, Prof. Annalisa Bracco ended her term in the SSG after serving for over 8 years as member and co-chair.

Dr Wenju Cai elected a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science
