The CLIVAR Scientific Steering Group (SSG) organized an online meeting on 5th December 2022 to discuss the membership proposals, 2023 CLIVAR budgets, new CLIVAR Research Focus proposals, as well as the current status of the International CLIVAR Project Office (ICPO).

The 27th Session of the CLIVAR Scientific Steering Group (SSG) took place on April 1, 4 & 5. Given the situation of the COVID pandemic, and to reduce our carbon footprint, the SSG-27 was held in a completely online format.

The 33^rd Session of the GEWEX Scientific Steering Group (SSG) was held online from 3-6 May 2021. CLIVAR was represented in this meeting by Sonya Legg, Aurel Moise, Jose Santos and some other CLIVAR members.

Sonya Legg, co-chair of the CLIVAR Scientific Steering Group, made a presentation at the 2021 USCLIVAR Scientific Steering Committee annual meeting held virtually on 19^th March.
