CLIVAR and US CLIVAR Jointly Released the latest Exchanges

The latest issue of CLIVAR Exchanges, a joint issue with US CLIVAR Variations, titled "Sea Level Rise", is now available to read and download.

This joint publication between International and US CLIVAR begins with highlights of recent scientific progress on sea level rise research from the 2017 WCRP/IOC Sea Level Conference, and includes new estimates of historical change, evaluation of our ability to simulate it, analysis of extreme events and surface waves, and examples of the impacts. This progress in understanding has been accompanied by a greater societal interest in sea level change as the world recognizes the vulnerability of the natural environment, increasing coastal populations, and infrastructure to rising seas.
