The CLIVAR/GEWEX Monsoons Panel had its face-to-face meeting on 14 December 2019 immediately following the American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall Meeting at San Francisco, USA.  A pre-meting consultation also took place on 11 December 2019 with the relevant stakeholders. ICPO supported the Monsoons Panel in preparing for the meeting and Dr Jose Luis Santos, Executive Director, ICPO, attended the meeting to provide on-site and additional support. Jose Santos also made two presentations, one on the CLIVAR Science Plan and possible MP interactions with other CLIVAR panels and Research Foci; and another summarizing the main outcomes of the IndOOS-2 report which was just released during that week.
