Liping Yin, Staff Scientist of the ICPO, attended the 2018 China Scientific Committee on Oceanic Research (SCOR) annual meeting, which was organized by the secretariat of China SCOR and co-organized by Zhejiang University as well as Zhejiang Ocean University, on 27-28 December 2018 at Zhejiang University.

The topic of this meeting was ‘Improving the role of China SCOR on international cooperation’, aiming to enhance the role of China SCOR in terms of marine environment and resources, biodiversity, ecological security and global climate change, and to increase communication with other international activities. Members from other international communities, such as SOLAS, PICES and IMBeR also attended the meeting.
