The 10th Session of the CLIVAR Pacific Panel was held in Santiago, Chile on 10-11, October, 2015. This session was coupled with the 11th ICSHMO meeting on 5-9 October 

The panel meeting was held by the Millennium Institute of Oceanography, Chile.

Local Logistics (Kindly provided by local organizer, IMO)

Meeting Place:
The venue of the ICSHMO conference is the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences of the University of Chile, located in downtown Santiago.
The CLIVAR Meeting will take place at the same venue. The local organizer, IMO, has booked a Conference room with all the necessary equipment. The name and location of this Conference room will be notified here later.
Our local organizer, IMO will kindly cater the attendees with coffee breaks (twice a day) and a buffet lunch (each day) during the Panel meeting on 10-11 October.
In reference to hotels, the ICSHMO organization has arranged preferent rates for attendees at the Crowne Plaza Santiago.
The rates are as follows:
Single standard room USDollars 169/night
Double standard room USDollars 179/night
Rates include American breakfast.

Panel activity plans:
1) Group dinner: Oct 10th, Saturday. 
2) Meeting excursion: 1pm, Oct 11th, Sunday. Drive to Valparaiso (aprox. 1.5 hours' ride). Return to the Santiago's Airport at 8pm, and then back to downtown. The tour includes the transportation, a guided tour with an official guide (in English) and a meal. The cost per person is US$ 148, or CLP 102,000, or 132 Euros.
