The 2019 AGU Fall Meeting will be held from December 9-13 in San Francisco, California. In preparation for the meeting, we have compiled a list of sessions that are relevant to the community and organized by our Panels, Research Foci and community members.

An article on 'A Sustained Ocean Observing System in the Indian Ocean for Climate Related Scientific Knowledge and Societal Needs' has recently been published on Frontiers in Marine Science, as one of the contribution to the 'OceanObs'19: An Ocean of Opportunity'. 

MedECC is pleased to invite you to become a reviewer of the 1st MedECC Assessment Report (MAR1) on current state and risks of climate and environmental change in the Mediterranean.

The Water Isotopes and Climate Workshop will be organized by US CLIVAR in Boulder, Colorado during October 1-3, 2019

The CLIVAR endorsed activity, PICES WG-40 (Climate and Ecosystem Predictability), was successfully organized and hosted by the First Institute of Oceanography, MNR, Qingdao China during 20-22 June.

The World Climate Research Programme (WCRP) looks forward to meeting you at the WCRP Climate Science Week at the American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall Meeting from 7 —13 December 2019 in San Francisco.

The Second Report has been released. The Executive Summary is currently available in English; translated versions will be posted when they are available.

The paper provide an overview of the vital information relating to ocean observations that supports the science policy interface developed and provided by the Regular Process and detail the utility of the Regular Process in helping to guide planning for the activities of the United Nations (UN) Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.
