13th Session of the CLIVAR/CliC/SCAR Southern Ocean Region Panel
The 13th Session of CLIVAR/CliC/SCAR Southern Ocean Region Panel (SORP-13) will be held in conjunction with Polar2018 as a side meeting before the main event.
"SORP serves as a forum for the discussion and communication of scientific advances in the understanding of climate variability and change in the Southern Ocean. SORP advises CLIVAR, CliC, and SCAR on progress, achievements, new opportunities and impediments in internationally-coordinated Southern Ocean research. SORP-13 will focus on emerging issues in Southern Ocean research and linkages with the new Northern Oceans Region Panel.

As being requested by the organizer of the Polar2018, must register via the registration portal to access the meeting venue. Please visit the registration webpage of Polar2018 and register as the participant of "SCAR business meetings (paid for by SCAR)". No payment will be needed at the end (zero registration fee), but the credit card info may be required to finalize the registration.
There is a business meeting reception in the early evening of Saturday, 16 June 2018. If you wish to attend, please book this within your registration, it costs an extra 30CHF.
